Mantis Media director Martin Walker spent a little over four years in the Media & PR team at Sunderland AFC with a varying role which included researching and writing the team manager’s media briefing notes, dealing with player media interview requests and community appearances on a weekly basis and writing several player signing media releases and writing club material for various areas of the business.
